New farm members

Yes, we finally have 5 new hens. We also have a chicken lodger who is staying with us while her remaining 8 chicks grow a bit. She belongs to our farm assistant Victor. The genets kept raiding his coop and he lost 11 babies over 7 days, so they have moved into our quarantine cage for a while.
Sadly our dear rooster Rupert had to be euthanized due to fly strike on a wound he had. We are now a strictly female group which is a lot less fuss. I will get a rooster again when we have a few more hens to spread the load so to speak.

This is what greets me at feeding time when I go to put everyone into their coops for the night.
